1. When should I schedule, and how far in advance?
It’s never too early to schedule your family portraits! Kids’ activities, sports, and busy weekends fill up quickly, so the sooner you know what dates work, the better. Prime weekends book weeks in advance, and specific times of day may not be available later in the season.

Keep in mind that fall weather can be unpredictable. By late October, wind often becomes a factor, and fall colors don’t last forever. Some years we’re lucky with leaves lasting into November, but typically, peak fall color wraps up by the end of October. I also know a few hidden spots that hold onto their color a little longer if you’re scheduling late in the season.

If you’re hoping for golden aspens in the mountains, they’re usually at their peak for about 2 weeks starting in mid-September.

2. How do I get on your calendar?
It’s easy—call, text, or email me! Just send a couple of preferred dates or weekends, and I’ll let you know what’s available.

3. How much do portraits cost?
My portrait experience is broken into two parts:

• Creative Fee – $150
  Covers my time, talent, location scouting, wardrobe guidance, your portrait session, and editing your photo gallery.

• Portraits & Products
  After your portraits are delivered, you’ll choose what best fits your family. I offer wall art, prints, digital portraits, and popular packages—plus the flexibility to build your own.

4. When do I pay for my portraits?
The creative fee is due once your session date and time are confirmed (I’ll send an invoice). At your ordering appointment, you’ll choose your portraits and pay for wall art, prints, or digital products. Ordering appointments are scheduled as soon as your portraits are edited.

5. Do I have to pick my package now?
Nope! While some clients like to plan ahead, I don’t require you to choose before seeing your portraits. I personally like to wait until I see the images before deciding on artwork—and I want you to feel the same flexibility.

6. What’s the turnaround time for receiving portraits?
You’ll get a sneak peek within a week to share on social media (via my Instagram or Facebook pages). Fully edited portrait galleries take about 2–4 weeks during busy season, and are processed in the order sessions are photographed.
