1. When do you schedule?  And how far in advance?

It is never too early to schedule your family portraits.  Kids' schedules and sporting events will quickly dominate your weekends.  So, as soon as you know what weekends work for you, reach out.  The farther I get into the season, the harder it is to accommodate special requests; prime weekends are booked weeks in advance, and your requested time of day may no longer be available.  So don't hesitate! 

Also, something to consider is that the weather is less cooperative farther into Fall.  As October wanes, the wind becomes a regular occurrence.  It's hard to say how long Fall will last.  Last year, it went on through November.  But typically, we have till the end of October.  If you schedule late in the season, I have a few locations that keep their leaves longer than others.

If you want Aspens in the mountains, those trees usually pop for about 2-3 weeks.  This will probably start in mid-September.

2.  How do I get on your calendar?

Call, text, or email me.  You can send me a few dates/weekends, and I will let you know what I have available.

3.  How much do portraits cost?

My photography experience is broken down into two payments; the first is the creative fee of $150.  This pays for my time and talent in finding your location, helping with your wardrobe, taking your portraits, and editing your photo gallery.  Then, after your portraits are delivered, you choose if you want wall art, prints, or digital portraits.  I offer popular packages, a la carte, or create your own packages.

4.  When do I pay for my portraits?

Your creative fee is due once we have picked a date and time.  I will send you an invoice.  Once you have your ordering appointment, you choose your portraits and pay for your wall art and prints.  Your ordering appointment will be scheduled as soon as your portraits are edited.

5. Do I have to pick my package now?

No.  Some clients like to choose their packages before they see their portraits.  This gives you time to save for a special piece of art.  I can't pick what I want to do with my family portraits until I see them, so I don't require clients to decide beforehand.

6.  What is the turnaround for receiving portraits?

You will receive a sneak peek of your portraits to share on social media via my Instagram or Facebook pages within a week of taking your portraits.  Fully edited portrait galleries take 2-4 weeks during the busy season.  Galleries are processed in the order that they are taken.  If you need your portraits quickly, please make that known in advance.  My annual holiday card sale runs during November.  Let me know if you are interested in cards, and your session is in November.
